New iMac

Big, beautiful displays dominate the new iMacs. These 21.5 inch and 27 inch displays with edge-to-edge glass cover nearly the entire front of the enclosure. When all you see is the display, nothing gets between you and what’s onscreen. Because the LED backlight doesn’t take up much space, the iMac enclosure stays thin. And the display is designed to look great when viewing from almost any angle.

The all-in-one design puts everything you need – display, processor, graphics card, hard drive, optical drive, memory, and more – inside one simple enclosure. A seamless, precision-forged enclosure makes the back of the iMac one continuous aluminum surface. And there’s only one cord: the power cord. This is the first Mac to come standard with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the new wireless Magic Mouse.

Faster processors and faster graphics makes working with photos, editing video, or playing games a whole lot easier. The iMac also separates the two hottest components to keep things cool inside the enclosure, and the three fans inside iMac have been tuned to be ultraquiet. The result is a system that operates quickly and so quietly you hardly know it’s on.
